Ellen & Nick's Beautiful Pennsylvania Summer Wedding
At the start of the summer this year, our featured couple Ellen & Nick tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, in the northeastern portion of the state at Constantino's Catering, a large outdoor wedding venue that features plenty of amenities and scenic views. There were sunny skies, greenery backdrops, and colorful florals throughout, along with plenty of family and friends. It was a romantic and magical day filled with love and happiness that we know was incredibly special. Photographer Jordan DeNike was onsite to collect all of their wedding day energy, and we are so thankful she was present to share all the photographs with us!
We want to start off with these photos of the happy couple, as they read love notes from one another before their big day- both spent time getting ready separately, but were given these notes as a way to explain just how much love was between the two of them. Both look so content and emotional as they read through their personal letters, anticipating seeing one another for the first time. We love moments like these, and always cherish witnessing them. It was just the start to their beautiful summer wedding that we know you'll adore. Follow along as we show you the rest of their beautiful wedding- you won't be disappointed that you did.
Ellen & Nick opted to not have a first look, and instead went straight for their church ceremony where they would meet for the first time in their wedding attire. Ellen's father escorted her down the aisle, kissing her gently on the forehead as he shakes Nick's hand. The couple stood close to one another, holding hands and sharing quiet whispers. As family and friends looked on, the couple had an intimate and serious ceremony as they exchanged their wedding vows and listened as the priest completed his readings. Once announced as husband and wife, they shared a passionate kiss, and we can only imagine that there wasn't a dry eye in the place. Strolling hand in hand with large smiles on their faces, the two of them walked out of the church for the first time as a married couple, starting their new lives together.
The grounds of their wedding venue were gorgeous! Everything was lush and green, with these lovely purple flowers scattered throughout, as well as an adorable little lily pond. It was seriously a summer dream. Ellen & Nick posed for family and bridal party photos, using the ground of their venue as a backdrop, and it was perfect scenery. Ellen looks beautiful wearing a sweetheart neckline white dress, with a long veil to compliment her perfect ringlet curls, and stunning all white floral bouquet. Not to be forgotten, her groom looks very handsome in his black three piece suit with a white shirt, bowtie and floral pin to match. The couple chose an all black and white color scheme for the bridal party, and it looks amazing. Black attire for both the men and women, with the girls carrying gorgeous all white floral bouquets to match Ellen's, and the men wearing white dress shirts with white florals on their chests is minimalism at its finest. One thing we love about our featured couple, is how much they smiled throughout- if you ask us, you can never have too many smiles on your wedding day.
Prior to their wedding reception, and after bridal party and family portraits, Ellen & Nick made time to take couple's photographs outside at their wedding venue. Underneath sunny skies, it was the perfect summer day as they posed and took a few minutes to just be together, bride and groom. These are so romantic we just had to share our favorite ones. Ellen's gorgeous long veil added a lovely feel to these photos, as it blows in the wind and beautifully cascades over the edges of the snapshots. They both look so in love with one another, as they smile, gazing into each others eyes, adding in a few kisses here and there. We think that they make such a beautiful couple!
The couple's wedding reception details were nothing short of stunning. All white decor, and elegant gold detailing made their wedding day reception look like something out of a fairytale. White tablecloths, white candles, and all white floral centerpieces were gorgeous, with the only color on the tables being the greenery of the flowers. Gold chairs added a touch of subtle glamour and perfectly lined the tables, with large golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. This is the perfect example of minimalism done well, and we are in love with how it all turned out. They stayed true to the color and design, down to the last detail, including their wedding cake. Ellen & Nick had a magnificent four-tiered all white cake, complete with small white edible flowers, and the tiniest spots of color with the leaves of the florals, and little pink and yellow flowers almost hidden within. Simply beautiful, it looked like the best place to celebrate with dinner and dancing for the newlyweds.
The newlyweds ended their evening dancing and celebrating as family and friends looked on in adoration. Their first dance as husband and wife looks incredibly romantic, and it puts a smile on our faces. The grin on Nick's face as he sways with his new bride is everything! We wish nothing but the best for them- cheers to the happy couple!
SPOTTED:
For their minimalist wedding, the couple chose to use several pieces from our EVELYN Collection. This collection is perfect for the bride who is looking for elegance and stunning minimalism all in one look. It features an elegant script font and modern minimalist design with classic detailing. They used several pieces throughout that were understated but beautiful, and stayed true to the glamorous and minimalist style. We always recommend using similar stationery pieces at your events for a look that's both cohesive and well pulled together.
ASHER Photo Guestbook Sign
Ellen & Nick had a photo guestbook rather than a regular signature version, and we love it! On display, they used this photo guest book sign, beautifully placed in a subtle gold frame. This sign normally is printed with the words "photo booth", but that's the beauty of our signage- you can completely edit the wording and fonts to match your event needs, which is what Ellen did here, writing "photo guestbook" in the same elegant script font. This sign comes in measurements for printing portrait wise in either 4x6", 5x7" (pictured below) or 8x10" so there's a size for everyone. Signs and templates can be printed at home for your convenience quickly and easily.
ASHER Wedding Welcome Sign
To welcome guests into their special day, the couple used this wedding welcome sign. The same elegant and gorgeous script font truly makes this sign stand out and is still perfectly minimalist. We love the gold frame used to add some style and to turn an ordinary stationery piece into something much more beautiful. This template is offered in landscape mode, and comes in sizes of either 24x18" or 24x36" (pictured below). All of the wording, fonts, even colors and optional photos can be added or edited to create your perfect wedding day stationery piece. For larger pieces like these, we recommend using a professional printer in order to get the highest quality possible.
ASHER Collection Seating Chart
For their wedding reception, the couple chose this minimalist and classical style seating chart. This design features an elegant script font and modern minimalist design that is perfect for the bride who wants something timeless that's also beautiful. We love how it's displayed in a gold frame to keep it upright and looking timeless .
Common questions received about sizes for how many guests are as follows:
∙ Seating Chart Size - 24x36" (300 guests) - shown below
∙ Seating Chart Size - 18x24" (200 guests)
We recommend printing these on foam boards to help make the quality better and to keep it sturdy. You can print foam boards at your local Staples, Office Depot, Walmart, etc. or you can utilize our favorite printer Prints of Love! They offer free 2-3 day shipping and will deliver high quality products right to your door.
