Nicole & Jimmy's Incredible Palm Springs Ace Hotel Wedding

We're going all the way back to 2019 with this week's featured couple, Nicole & Jimmy, who married at The Ace Hotel in Palm Spring, California- a magnificent boutique hotel and swim club that offers desert views, a feel good space, and a relaxing appeal. It made for an incredible backdrop to their ceremony, creating a true paradise for the couple. Photographer Alexis Ralston was there from beginning to the end to capture all of the special moments from their day. She was kind enough to share these with us, and we couldn't be more grateful. These two had such a magical and eventful affair, with details done to perfections. Their classical black and white wedding will give you major wedding inspiration, and you'll love how incredible their special day turned out. So grab your skateboard name tag (you'll see what we mean), and follow along for more from Nicole & Jimmy's Palm Springs dream wedding.

After spending time getting ready separately, the couple had their first look. It's always an honor to watch someone's first look- it's getting a glimpse into such an important moment of two people's lives. We can only imagine how nervous Jimmy was to see Nicole for the first time, but we're sure he was just as excited too. When she taps him on the shoulder, the little smirk he gave was playful and happy, as he gets ready to see his new bride for the first time on their wedding day. We know he must have been beyond anxious to see her and who can blame him- she was stunning! It was truly a romantic and emotional event, with happy tears and plenty of smiles to go around. To witness two people truly in love never gets old, and seeing photos like these always warm our hearts.

Their outdoor wedding venue was gorgeous! The desert views, the boho decor, the twinkle lights- such a dream setting to exchange your vows. Jimmy stood at the top of their alter, waiting for Nicole to meet him there, watching in anticipation as she was escorted down the aisle towards her future husband. With family and friends watching on, the couple said their "I do's", never removing their gaze from each other, and holding hands throughout. They read their vows, and placed their respective wedding bands on their fingers, promising to love one another. Surely there wasn't a dry eye in the place watching the two of them express their love. They celebrated their union of becoming husband and wife with a kiss and warm embrace, with guest cheering along. They then made their way back down the aisle for the first time and newly cemented husband and wife, complete with large beaming smiles. They both look so happy, and there's nothing more wonderful than that.

Couples photo's are always the most romantic part of a wedding day. It's a chance for the bride and groom to spend some extra time together and revel in the magic of the day. Nicole & Jimmy look so incredible here, and the way that they're looking at each other is everything. Their classic black and white attire is perfectly minimalist and forever timeless. The white parasol umbrella is a cute addition to their photos, and it really adds that something special. Nicole's long white dress is stunning on her, with a plunging neckline, dreamy train, and even pockets. We love how she pinned her hair to the side to highlight her features with her makeup done flawlessly. The final touch was her white and soft terracotta colored bouquet, which was nothing short of beautiful. Her groom also looked handsome in his black and white tux, complete with a bowtie and matching floral lapel pin. Of course, we can't forget the two of them standing at the top of their wedding alter, decorated with pampas grass and light colored florals. They truly make such a gorgeous couple.

Nicole & Jimmy made their way to the reception, with Jimmy skateboarding along the way. It was such a lovely and sunny day, so they of course had to rock some shades, and they both look amazing- it's one of our favorite photos from their day! Once guests arrived at the reception, they were greeted with a skateboard seating chart with the words "skate to your seat" that had mini skateboards decorated with guest's names on it- how fun and creative is that?! Jimmy is a professional skateboarder, so it only makes sense that they had this created for their wedding. There were also plenty of other unique and memorable things, including an ice cream bus, and a custom marquee sign to feature their wedding. The decor inside the venue was equally as beautiful. Colors, styles, and designs were matched to the bride's florals, and their classic black and white color palette, and there were of course twinkle lights to illuminate the evening. There was dinner, plenty of dancing, with everyone creating memories to last a lifetime. Although were weren't there ourselves, we can only imagine what a spectacular evening it was.

Finally- The Dreamiest Black & White First Dance Photo:

As the night went on, the couple celebrated with family, and friends. Underneath the twinkle lights, they swayed to the music for the first time as husband and wife, and the above photo just doesn't do them justice, but it was too beautiful not to share. It's always so inspiring to see true love, and an honor to be just a tiny part of someone's special day. These two look so in love, and we hope that their wedding was everything they wanted it to be and more. Congratulations to the happy couple- we send nothing but good thoughts and happiness your way. And remember:

Nicole & Jimmy went with a classic all black and white look on just about everything for their special day, including their wedding stationery. They chose several pieces from our EVELYN Collection for a simple, but pretty feel. This collection features a modern minimalist design and elegant script font for a classical look with a modern twist. They also chose a piece from our ADELLA collection, which has a similar style, but an edgy handwritten font for something different. Whatever your cocktail of choice, nothing is more personal, and adorable, than a watercolor print sign to go with it.

EVELYN "Cards & Gifts" and Custom Sign

Placed at a table during their day events were this cards and gifts sign, as well as a custom sign. We think they look pretty good here in black frames. The cards and gifts sign has the same overall design to match the rest of their stationery and comes in sizes of 4x6", 5x7" (pictured below), or 8x10" so there's a sign perfect for your event needs. As for the custom version, Palm Springs can be a toasty location, so the couple chose to use a custom sign that read "stay cool" and placed it next to basket full of paper fans. This 8x10" custom sign can be completely edited, so you can say anything you like, and even add photos or change colors if need be.

EVELYN Table Numbers

Their reception tables were setup so beautifully! These table numbers come in sizes of either 4x6" or 5x7" (pictured below) and can be edited with any wording needed, along with the fonts, colors, and even photo options if needed. This elegant script font with edgy lettering is a stylish way to dress up your table decor to take it from standard to something more beautiful. We love how they placed it in a standup black frame for extra hold, and to keep it preserved.

EVELYN "Let's Eat" Menu & Slim Name Place Card

The couple chose this "Let's Eat" dinner menu for their wedding reception for presenting their guests with their food offerings. Offered in sizes of 5x7" (pictured below) or 4x9" they can be printed at home for easy convenience. They also used a slim card name plate (top left), with the same elegant font to keep things cohesive. These slim name place cards come in sizes of 1.25x4" (pictured below), or 1.25x6" and are also fully editable- they look great pinned to a dinner menu for an elegant and personalized style.
