Rebecca & Jason's Toronto Winter Wonderland Wedding
Last December, our featured couple, Rebecca & Jason, were married in an elegant Canadian winter ceremony at Elora Mill, a boutique hotel and spa that offers luxury and relaxation, all while appearing like an old stone castle nestled in the woods. The day started overcast with snow splattered on the ground, and ended with a glowing winter sunset that took our breath away. Award winning photography team Purple Tree Photography was present from start to finish, capturing every moment of their special day. Their Holiday inspired wedding is something to behold, and it will inspire your winter wedding dreams. We know you'll be just as enamored as we were as we viewed their wedding day. Even though their event took place in winter, everything is so incredible, it will keep your wedding dreams warm! The bride and groom opted for a first look, sharing a few moments alone together to see each other and soak it all in. Moments like these are always our favorite, because you know you're witnessing something special. As he sees her for the first time, Jason couldn't contain his excitement, embracing Rebecca in a giant bear hug and holding her tight. They took time to enjoy seeing each other in their wedding day attire before the rest of their wedding day went on, giving us these beautiful photographs of the happy couple. The first look session continued as they went inside the venue and the photographers grabbed these below photos of the two of them inside the spiral staircase. Completely unique to anything we've ever seen, they are absolutely stunning and it was a gorgeous way to photograph these two beauties.
With snow and cloudy skies in the background, they posed for more couples photos along with family and the wedding party. We adore the all black attire for both bridesmaids and groomsmen, and are in love with the ladies black fur shawls! The black and white color scheme is classical minimalist, always in style, and forever timeless for any occasion. They make a gorgeous bridal party, and we are sure that Rebecca & Jason were thrilled to have everyone stand by their sides for their wedding. It might have been a cold Canadian winter day, but the way everyone is smiling is warm and friendly, showcasing their happiness for the future newlyweds.
Their wedding venue was gorgeous, decorated in all white and gold, with the aisle seats lined with greenery garlands and white candles. A large gold mirror with calligraphy writing welcomed guests in as they took their seats for the ceremony. Jason waited for his new bride at the head of the alter, a large smile beaming from his face as he saw Rebecca make her way towards him, her smile equally as electric. In front of family and friends, they couple had a quiet and romantic ceremony, exchanging vows, and sharing a few tears. They were celebrated by guests as they were announced husband and wife, and commenced it all with a passionate kiss. We love the photo of Rebecca raising her bouquet in elation as they make their way down the aisle. It's always a happy feeling to see two people in love and excited.
Rebecca & Jason posed for additional couple's portraits after the ceremony as the sun was beginning to set, and all we can say is "WOW"! Every photograph is perfection. The golden hour light peeking through the trees is magnificent, creating a glow around the two of them we are obsessing over. With snow scattered on the ground and pine trees as a backdrop, you couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. Rebecca is stunning in her long sleeved gown, her red lips and crystal accessories highlighting her beauty and soft features, and she looks amazing with her flowing wavy hairstyle. Completing the look was her all white floral bouquet, and crystal adorned pumps, making her a stunning winter bride. Her groom chose a traditional black and white suit with a black bowtie and matching all white boutonnière. The way they are smiling at each other is melting our hearts, as well as the snow around them. Below are some of our favorites, as they're just too amazing not to share.
The couple's wedding reception was a Holiday dreamland of gold lights and statement pieces, all white decor, and trees sparkling with garlands of lights. Large greenery centerpieces adorned the reception tables, surrounded by white candles and all white floral displays. It looks absolutely magical! There was no detail unaccounted for, curated incredibly and making it feel like a true winter wonderland. We love the minimalist style, with the lights adding a dreamy appearance that captures the specialness of the Holiday season. There was dinner and dancing, with speeches and a cocktail hour mixed in, and of course a cake cutting for the bride and groom to share pieces with one another. Even though we were not present, we can only assume it was spectacular.
Dancing in front of family and friends underneath twinkle light chandeliers, the couple celebrated becoming newly crowned husband and wife with a spin around the dance floor. It's always so inspiring to see true love, and it's always an honor to be just a tiny part of someone's special day. Rebecca & Jason are so beautiful as they sway to the music, looking at one another completely in awe. We can only imagine how much fun was had as everyone danced the night away, and we send love and congratulations the couples way.

NOEL Marriage Certificate
The bride & groom went with a matching marriage certificate for their winter affair. With the same design as the wedding invitation, the pretty colorful winter wreath pine and floral print look soft and beautifully minimalist agains the all white background. This print is sized at 8x10" (pictured below), or 16x20" and have all of the necessary marriage certificate wording and name places as a standard one. They can be printed at home for your convenience, and will look great in a gold or neutral toned frame.
NOEL Reception Timeline Menu
For their reception timeline, the couple chose this dinner menu stationery template and instead of writing out the food offerings, they wrote an itinerary of the receptions's activities. It features the same gold calligraphy font as its stationery counterparts, including the elegant watercolor Holiday greenery and berries. It was a beautiful way to add a little Holiday winter spirit to their reception, and we love the fun twist the couple chose, using this piece for something unique.
