Styled Shoot- A Coastal Romance Elopement

Our featured event this week is this lovely coastal romance beach and water inspired styled shoot. On a sunny day with blue skies and views of the lake, this styled shoot took place. But it didn't take place in California or somewhere far- it took place right here in our own backyard in Colorado at the Cherry Creek Reservoir! Colorado wedding photographer Annaleisa, known professionally as Meraki Photo Co, was on site to snap these beautiful moments, and we couldn't be more grateful. Along with her, there was a variety of other contributors whose products and services helped create what you're about to witness and we're so excited to share it. After a quick peek at one another, our couple took a stroll hand in hand down on the docks. The bride stuns with a low cut, open legged slit white gown, delicate pearls, and muted tan stilettos. Her hair and makeup are elegant, with rich golden colors and a stylish chignon top bun. With a delicate mauve, white, and greenery inspired bouquet, her outfits get a little bit of color and a ton of style. Her groom is equally as handsome in his white button down and linen slacks, complete with a light grey blazer and white floral pin. His long curly hair gives off a relaxed, natural vibe that suits him well. Underneath the sunlight and blue skies, the both of them are nothing less than gorgeous.











Don't they both look absolutely beautiful as they pose at their reception table? We are in love with how lovely this entire setup worked out. Soft pink and blue linens added a pop of color to their all white layout, complete with matching candles, and porcelain place settings. Similarly shaded florals were added to the table scape, along with pieces of greenery and a splattering of tiny white flowers. Both of them have a fun energy as they appear playful, laughing and donning big smiles. One of the details we can't forget is the two tiered all white cake. Perfectly decorated with edible flowers and pearls, it looks too pretty to eat. There was definitely fun to be had as they fed each other pieces of their reception dessert.







Taking it outdoors, the models hung out alongside the boat deck of the marina at The Pelican Bay of Cherry Creek, with views of the reservoir and several boats looming in the background. The couple positioned themselves between two greenery lined pillars, complete with small white flowers as their background. There was even a pair of binoculars for the couple to peer out of! The day has a romantic aura to the air, creating a breathtaking atmosphere, and giving us these amazing photographs. With the calmness of the water as a backdrop, it made for the ultimate outdoor shoot setting, and it was perfect. The chemistry of these two is clearly visible, pulling everything together in the best possible way.









The last portion of the day featured the couple having themselves some fun on the little beach of the reservoir. Both changed their outfits, but stuck with the overall white aesthetic. The bride changed into a white swimsuit and matching long sleeve beach cover while the groom simply removed his grey suit jacket and rolled up the ends of his slacks. They spent some time frolicking along the waterline and dipping their toes in the sand. There was dancing, hand holding, and plenty of embraces filled with kisses. It was a great way to end the shoot, completely laid back but full of fun energy. We couldn't have asked for a cuter portion to the styled shoot if we tried.







This outdoor styled shoot was such a pleasure to be a part of! It was so great to see all of the vendors and their work come together to create something so incredible. Everything from the location to the florals was curated beautifully. We loved being even just a tiny part of this styled shoot, and we are always so grateful to be able to feature our work in a real life event.
