Taylor & Austin's Sensational Italian Wedding in Lake Como
In the summer of 2021, our featured couple, Taylor & Austin, were married in Lake Como, Italy at the Hotel Villa Cipressi, a luxury hotel that hosts historic buildings, and botanical gardens that overlooks the lake and mountain peaks. It was truly something out of a fairytale. Their wedding had it all- surreal views, gorgeous elegance, and a lovely couple at the center of it all. Italian wedding photographer Sara D'Ambra was there to capture all of the memorable moments of their day, from start to finish. She was kind enough to share these photographs with us, and we can't thank her enough. Everything from Taylor & Austin's day was incredible, and it serisouly makes us want to plan a trip to Italy! We were blown away when we saw the photos from their wedding day, and we know that you'll be just as taken aback as we were. With a venue that can only be described as breathtaking, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in front of family & friends, Lake Como sparkling in the background, underneath the trees. As he stood at the head of the alter, Austin watched nervously as his beautiful bride made her way down the stone stairs, escorted by her father, looking gorgeous. Loved ones watched along as the couple shared their love and said their "I do's", smiling at one another the entire time. There was laughter and tears, with happiness all around. Once pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. shared a romantic kiss, with the sound of cheers and clapping in the background. It looked like such a lovely ceremony, and we're sure that there wasn't a dry eye anywhere in sight. They then posed for a few family and bridal party photographs using the lake as their background. We love the color scheme that they chose for their special day- it goes exceptionally well with the theme and location. The bridesmaids looked lovely in their light sage green gowns and white floral bouquets, while the groomsmen opted for light grey suits and pastel floral ties. Surrounding the happy couple, we think everyone looked picture perfect.
After their wedding ceremony, the couple hopped on a boat to cruise the lake, spend some time alone, and pose for couple's photographs, and it looked like such a fun way to see more of Italy. Once they arrived at their destination, they embraced while walking through the little Italian streets, and relaxed on old stone steps to take photos. Taylor looked so beautiful in her long white gown, delicately detailed with lace and crystal beading, and a flowing tulle skirt. Her hair and makeup were flawless, with her long blonde locks braided into an intricate formation, making her look like a princess. Her groom was handsome in a dark grey suit, white shirt, and light sage green tie to pull it all together. If you look closely, you can even see his dog socks! To finish their alone time, the couple strolled through the botanical gardens before making their way towards the rest of their loved ones, stopping every so often to share a kiss or take in the scenery. They make such a beautiful couple, and we're honored to be able to see their wedding photos.
To end their magical wedding day, the couple returned to the hotel for their wedding reception. Just look at that view! There was a cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the lake, with nothing but clear water and blue skies all around, followed by dinner with equally as stunning views. The couple had all white table settings, elegantly decorated with garlands of greenery, and adorable lemon inspired table numbers and coordinating dinner menus. Guests were treated to mini bottles of limoncello, an Italian liquor that is a country favorite, and very popular choice for celebrations. To keep with the Italian flavor and style, Austin & Taylor had plenty of lemon inspired items for their wedding, which even extended to their cake. Their three-tiered white and lemon dessert is so cute, it almost looks too good to eat! There was a cake cutting, along with a champagne toast to congratulate the beautiful couple on a lifetime of love and happiness. It was such a stunning reception! We're sure that as the sun went down, it looked nothing short of magical, making it a glorious way to spend the evening.
As the night carried on, the couple shared a dance for the first time as husband and wife in front of their loved ones. Underneath the Italian sun, it looked like something out of a fairytale. Although we weren't there, we can only imagine how incredible their wedding was, and we can see and feel the love from these two in all of their photos. We want to extend a congratulations to the newlyweds and we wish them nothing but the best. Cheers to the happy couple, and we hope it's a lifetime of love and happiness.

Welcoming guests as they arrived for the weekend, Taylor & Austin went with an itinerary template to match their wedding invitation. This 5x7" welcome note and itinerary template features a watercolor painting of Lake Como, with a front and backside, and 70 copy and paste icons are included. You can alter and change the icons to perfectly match the events you have planned for your wedding day, or wedding weekend. Graphic detailed icons really add a little something extra that your guests will love. Of course, these templates are also fully editable, minus the watercolor painting, and can be printed at home for your convenience.
EVELYN Collection Table Numbers
To help guests find their seats, the couple went with these EVELYN collection table numbers. Our printable diy wedding seating chart template features an elegant calligraphy script font and modern, minimalist design. These table numbers come in a few different sizes- 4x6" (pictured below), or 5x7" for the larger number templates, and the header "take a seat" card at the top is measured at 4x9". They also incorporated a 4x9" card for their "head table" seating arrangements. You can also edit these cards to make them specific to your event. We love this look here placed on a gold antique mirror for a unique and glamorous feel.
Taylor & Austin's gorgeous Lake Como Italian wedding was an absolute dream to be a small part of, and we feel so lucky to witness these photos.
