Wes & Kendal's Enchanting Wedding at The Pinner House
Earlier this May in Norfolk, Virgina, our featured couple Kendal & Wes were married at The Pinner House, a historical bed & breakfast that offers luxury, one of a kind amenities and plenty of landscape. Photographer Sara Myers was on site to capture all of the magic of the couple's special day, taking some of the most beautiful photographs we've seen yet. She was generous enough to share her work with us, and we were absolutely blown away! An all black and white affair, it was classically elegant, and truly romantic in nature. They even took photographs with their adorable dog! How sweet do they all look?! These romantic couples portraits are simply the best and we can't get enough. Kissing underneath Kendal's sheer veil offers up a dreamy tone to these photographs, making them romantic and intimate in detail. The way these two are looking at one another is what true love looks like- the way they stare into one another's eyes, smiling as if they're the only two people in the world. Kendal is a dream in her gorgeous lace gown, with its scooping neckline and long flowing train. Her dark curly hair and radiant makeup are simply perfection, making her the most beautiful bride imaginable. Her new groom was also dressed to impress, looking dapper in a traditional black and white suit, complete with a black bowtie, and white rose boutonnière. The bridal party also kept their wedding day colors muted to match- the men in similar black suits with bowties, and the women in champagne colored dresses. They celebrated Kendal & Wes with cheering and laughter as they participated in bridal party photographs.
Wes looked handsome as he stands at the head of the church alter, nervously anticipating Kendal's arrival. Soon enough, she began to make her way, gliding towards her new groom. She looked radiant and she walks down the aisle towards him, her smile big and welcoming. As they stood at the front, the couple held hands throughout the ceremony, always very close to one another. With family and friends looking on, they were announced husband and wife for all to see, celebrating with a passionate kiss. The newlyweds made their way back down the aisle, for the first time as Mr. & Mrs., stopping again to kiss in excitement.
Following the ceremony, Kendal & Wes posed for additional couple's photographs. Standing in front of the venue's outdoor villa inspired grounds, they look magnificent. No matter the background, they stood out, far and away the most stunning part of the landscape. Words simply don't do these two justice, so we'll just leave these below photographs for you to see for yourself. They're just too beautiful not to share.
These two make an incredibly gorgeous couple. Seriously, we were so enamored by every single photograph of them. Posing in front of the reception venue, we think they make such a lovely bride and groom. With large smiles and a post wedding glow, the night continued on. Their wedding day details were elegant and expertly curated, creating an all white dream setting, complete with white roses and candles, along with a decorative headpiece for their reception table. Not to be forgotten is the three tiered white cake, complete with an elaborate floral topper of white orchids. The couple smiled and celebrating upon slicing it, feeding each other bites and soaking in the moment. Although we weren't there, we can only imagine what a wonderful reception these two had in a night loaded with dinner, dancing, and a lifetime of memories.
These champagne coupe cup tower photos are everything! Wes & Kendall look like they're having the time of their lives as they pour the bubbly down over the cascading glasses. These are some of the cutest photos from their reception, and it's not hard to see why. We love that they added something like this to their event to make it even more memorable- a champagne tower is such a fun and unique idea! As they poured from the top, the champagne trickled down, creating a waterfall of bubbly all the way down the glass tower. Once they were done pouring, they raised a glass in celebration and happily smiled for the camera. We'll cheers to that!
One of the cutest photos from their reception is the above second to last one where they're showing off their wedding day sneakers! These two couldn't be any more adorable if they tried. It's such a fun photograph that gives a look into their playful and happy energies. As the night came to an end and the couple went off into the night, they were escorted by a sparkler tower and their loved ones cheering them on. We feel so lucky to have witnessed their beautiful wedding and to have been just a tiny part of it, and we wish the newlyweds all the love and happiness in the world.

Wes & Kendal's wedding was one of the most gorgeous events we were fortunate enough to have been a small part of.
