Will & Allyson's Minnesota Wedding at The Walker Art Center
Late summer 2021 in Minneapolis, Minnesota our featured couple, Allyson & Will were married at The Walker Art Center , a contemporary art center that showcases a variety of exhibitions and galleries located in an upscale neighborhood of the city. It also made for a lovely backdrop for their wedding, with blue skies and trees decorating the background. Photographer Josh Olson was there to take these beautiful photos of their special day, and they turned out just wonderfully. Keep scrolling to see just how gorgeous their wedding was.
There's something so romantic about black and white photographs- it's almost like they capture a feeling more vintage and intimate, making it seem like you're going back to a moment in time. We love these photos of Allyson & Will as they share a first look before the ceremony. The couple got a chance to sneak a few little moments together before their ceremony took place, and we feel so lucky to see the results. The looks being exchanged between the two of them is the epitome of romance.
Isn't their bridal party stunning? One of our favorite photos? The one where everyone is all lined up surrounding the couple- they all look amazing and the colors are picture perfect. The girls all look beautiful in dresses that vary in shades of red, pink, and deep burgundy in mismatched styles that create a nice ombre palette. The brighter colors allow Allyson so stand out in her white gown, making her the main focus. To add a little color, they all had pretty bouquets with flowers in pinks, reds and white to match their gowns. Will and his groomsmen opted for navy blue suits and reddish toned ties to align with the girls. They all look so handsome standing in between the trees as they support their guy on his wedding day.
With family and friends looking on, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in the late summer sun. There were blue skies, and it looked like an absolutely perfect day. Allyson & Will were all smiles as they walked down the aisle together hand in hand as newly announced husband and wife.
Their reception table is one of the most gorgeous layouts we have ever seen. Crisp white linens with greenery garlands and flowers that brightly matched the bouquets made these tablescapes incredibly beautiful and gave them a minimalist but romantic feel. Little details pulled their reception together, and we can only imagine how lovely it all looked with a full room of guests enjoying their evening celebrating the happy couple.
These two look so in love in the above photo while they dance as husband and wife for the first time, and the lighting couldn't be more perfect. The smiles on their faces say more than words ever could, and we are here for it! We wish nothing but the best for these two gorgeous newlyweds- congratulations on tying the knot!
